Greetings!
My name is Glenda Sue Ryan. I grew up in Houston, Indiana (small town in Jackson County, Indiana near the Hoosier National Forest). After graduation from Brownstown Central High School in 1980 I pursued training from Ivy Tech (now Indiana State College) in Columbus, Indiana. After completing my A.A.S. in Computer Programming in 1982 I worked at Claas Combine for almost 3 years as a Data Entry Operator. In 1985 I packed what would fit in my Pinto and headed to North Carolina. I lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for many years and currently reside in Knightdale, North Carolina.
I have worked in the IT field since 1982, including positions in Data Entry, Computer Operations, Mainframe Programming, EDI, and Web Site Design, Development, and Maintenance. I received Web Technologies A.A.S. and General Education degrees from Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh in May 2010.
I was a member of the Wake Tech Web Team in Raleigh, North Carolina for 18 months, which provided much quality training in Web Design and Development. I have served as Web Administrator for 3 non-profits since 2007 and been doing contract Web Development work since 2010. My most recent Web Programming position was with the IES Department of NC State University.
